The Advanced Safety Acceleration Program (ASAP) is Fennec Engineering's functional safety program for autonomous systems, robotics, manufacturing, automation, and physical AI. It connects the entire safety lifecycle, from hazard analysis to certification-ready evidence, into one traceable system of record.
That's the shift. Today, the picture usually looks nothing like it: your test results are in one tool, requirements in another. The last engineering change is in someone's inbox, and the rest is in spreadsheets. None of it matters until the day you have to put a deployment in front of an assessor, a regulator, or your own legal team and prove it's safe. Scattered evidence doesn't hold.
ASAP is the path through that: one program across the whole lifecycle, so you do the work once and it holds up whether you're deploying a robot on a floor or an AI agent making decisions in software.
What ASAP is
Most tools pick one stage and do it well, then leave you to stitch it to the next by hand. ASAP is the stitching. It runs on the systems engineering V-Model and covers hazard identification through the safety case, with each step's output feeding the next. Nothing gets re-typed, re-derived, or dropped in a hand-off.
A platform is where you do the work. A program is the whole path through it.
ASAP applies wherever a system has to be proven safe around people: a robot sharing a floor, a machine on a line, or an AI agent whose decisions carry real-world consequences.

OUR SOLUTIONS

The software system of record for functional safety, from definition through validation. It runs the full V-Model in one connected environment, with every artifact traced to the next, and includes AI that drafts the work while keeping a person in control.

WHO THIS IS FOR
If you're the engineer: you're doing serious safety work without a functional-safety title. Whether you're designing a humanoid robot or shipping an AMR, ASAP gives you the framework, tells you what's next, and clears the manual documentation, so that your day is spent in development rather than reformatting a spreadsheet.
If you're the leader: your name is on the deployment. ASAP gives you a real view into risk, a faster path through certification, fewer late redesigns, and a record that holds up in front of procurement, legal, a regulator, or a customer. Whoever asks first.
The Proof
ASAP began inside a demanding automation program, where it was tested against real deployment constraints before becoming a product.
Fennec's specified ASAP tools are qualified by TÜV Rheinland as Tool Class 2 (T2) offline support tools under IEC 61508-3:2010, Clause 7.4.4.
QUALIFIED SCOPE
The qualification applies to the specified tools and versions below. It is not a blanket qualification of the ASAP platform or lifecycle.

Fennec's functional safety program connects HARA, the functional safety concept, requirements, reliability and FMEDA work, and test management with traceability across the V-Model. Fennec's specified ASAP tools are qualified by TÜV Rheinland as Tool Class 2 (T2) offline support tools under IEC 61508-3:2010, Clause 7.4.4. The reports define the applicable tools, versions, and scope. Project-specific tool use and safety evidence still require review.
IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 26262, plus ISO 12100 / ANSI B11.0, ISO 14121-2, the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, IEC 61511, SN 29500, and IEC 61496. See the Platform page for what each requires.
Yes. The Platform is a subscription; Test Cell design and V&V is its own line, scoped to your test cases, facility, and testing needs. Both feed the same record.
No. Fennec's team loads your existing artifacts (HARA, SRS, safety concept) so you get traceability from here on. Many teams start small, usually with risk assessment or reliability/FMEDA, before the full V-Model.

The fastest way to know if this fits is to walk your V-Model against ASAP with someone who's done it before.
